About Us The Boater Chick Festival is an opportunity for women in paddle sports to gather, make friends and paddle together in a friendly and supportive environment. The festival, a first of its kind, seeks to advance the participation of women in paddle sports by providing clinics on Class II, III, and IV whitewater as well as trips for experienced paddlers on class II, III, IV, and V whitewater. While all river activities are ladies only and geared towards whitewater kayaking and canoeing we extend an invitation to everyone in boating to join in the festivities. Squirt boaters, slalom and wildwater racers, rafters and guys are welcome and invited. Join us in Bryson City, North Carolina every mid May for the one and only Boater Chick Festival.
