Competitions Ladies Only Ocoee Advanced Freestyle Competition This event is sponsored by Fluid Kayaks. Bring your best trick to the Ocoee for a chance to win the BIG prize. A spanking new small Fluid Flirt kayak. Second and third place will get some great prizes too. The meeting time for this competition is 9:30am Saturday morning at the Ocoee Whitewater Center. The competition begins when the meeting ends. You don't have to be a pro to compete. You don't have to be able to pull off some huge trick either. This competition is geared towards all chicks who playboat. Ladies Only Nantahala Beginner/Intermediate Freestyle Competition This competition is sponsored by Werner paddles. All of the Ladies who register and attend the Nantahala beginner playboating clinic with Samantha Brunner on Saturday will have the opportunity to have a friendly competition with each other at the end of the clinic. Meet in the NOC parking lot behind the main store at 4:30pm after the clinic is over. Prizes include a custom Werner paddle, a Shred Ready Vixon helmet, and an IR J-Lo spray skirt. Prizes are awarded to the most improved boater from the clinic. Register early as there are limited spaces available. Ladies Only Cheoah Boater Cross This event is sponsored by Predator helmets. The meeting time for this competition is 3 pm on Saturday in the Tapoco Lodge parking lot on the Cheoah River. The competition will begin soon after the meeting ends. This competition is a head to head sprint from the bridge above Bear Creek Falls to the lake. A little over 2 miles. The first one to paddle across the finish line at the lake is the winner. 2nd and 3rd places will be honored as well. Directions to all events will be available at the festivals main location at NOC.
